Project overview

Our involvement in Phase 1 of Chatteris delivers access and the first length of an infrastructure Way link, with upgraded open space to ensure ecological enhancement through habitat creation.

Along with the first phase of residential development for 245 homes, the Outline Approval is for a sustainable new settlement. Once completed this will be home to 1,000 new households, along with associated facilities such as retail, commercial, a primary school, playing fields, infrastructure and open space.

Within the strategic open space there will be ecological enhancements that will provide habitat creation for wildlife. Including insects, amphibians, reptiles and mammals.

The Outline Approvals delivery of homes and the community facilities will further strengthen the social and economic stability of Chatteris and the wider area.
